Trial for Henderson animal cruelty case pushed back

KENTUCKY -- The suspects in an animal cruelty case involving more than 20 Airedale Terriers appeared in district court on Wednesday.

The attorneys for Richard and Dorthea Conroy asked for the trial date to be pushed back. The judge granted the request and the couple's next appearance will be November 20.

The Conroys have been charged with 79 counts of animal cruelty. Back in August, 26 Airedale Terriers were rescued from a pole barn at the Conroy's residence.

  1. These people make me sick. I hope they get the full extent of punishment the law can place on them.
